PrimeSource is committed to our membership as well as our community. During the year we give donations to various Inland Northwest charities,  such as the El Katif Shrine, Union Gospel Mission, Special Olympics  and many others. Watch for fundraising events throughout the year.

	Special Olympics Washington PrimeSource is proud to support the Special Olympic of Washington, which provides year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities. Founded in 1968 by Eunice Kennedy Shriver and the Joseph P. Kennedy Foundation, Special Olympics formed to improve the lives of the intellectually disabled.
	Ronald McDonald House Charities of Spokane  PrimeSouce donations help support the local Ronald McDonald House Charities of Spokane which provides temporary lodging, comfort and support for families of children accessing medical services, and supports related efforts to improve children's health.  The first Ronald McDonald House opened in Philadelphia in 1974. Since then, Ronald McDonald Houses have been established in 300 communities around the world.
	Hospice Care of Spokane Hospice care is a holistic approach to end-of-life care, addressing the medical, emotional, psychological and spiritual needs of the terminally ill person and their loved ones. Hospice of Spokane was among the first hospices in the country and has served the Greater Spokane area since 1977.
	The Spokane Women's and Children's Free Restaurant The Spokane Women's and Children's Free Restaurant is a vital safely net that fills nutritional gaps for women and children while fostering dignity and respect, both within the restaurant and the community. Programs are in place which provide week night meals and meals for over the weekend. The Nutrition to Go Program was created to provide healthy food to working and student single parent families, and to families experiencing crisis or trauma.
	Union Gospel Mission  PrimeSource Credit Union is proud to support the Union Gospel Mission, giving hope, help and assistance to men, women and children in the Spokane community. The Union Gospel Mission has grown to include three shelters, two thrift stores, an automotive department and a children’s camp ministry.
	Komen Eastern Washington PrimeSource has joined the fight against breast cancer! Komen Eastern Washington (an affilliate organization of Susan G. Koman for the Cure) plays a vital role in fighting breast cancer in our community. Donations help to provide breast health education, breast cancer screening, and treatment programs for medically underserved women, in addition to breast cancer research and educational programs worldwide.
	El Katif Shrine El Katif Shrine is part of Shriners International and supports the Spokane Shriners Hospital for Children. Dedicated to improving the lives of children, Shriners sponsor events that raise funds to provide pediatric specialty care, innovative research, and outstanding teaching programs for medical professionals. Our contribution to the El Katif Shrine helps to support this great cause for children in our community.
	Credit Unions for Kids PrimeSource Credit Union is a proud participant in the Credit Unions for Kids Network. Since 1996, the Credit Unions for Kids nationwide program has generated more than $70 million for children’s hospitals. Throughout the year, you can join us and Credit Unions for Kids across the nation in raising funds for kids in need at our local Children's Miracle Network hospitals.100% of the funds raised will help the kids in our community.
	2nd Harvest Inland Northwest Second Harvest, founded in 1971, leads a network of 275 neighborhood food banks and meal centers throughout Eastern Washington and North Idaho. Second Harvest provides 1.5 million pounds of donated food each month to help feed hungry people. Every $1.00 donation means 4 meals for hungry people.
	Salvation Army School Supply Drive PrimeSource, our members, and other local partners help the Salvation Army to collect backpacks and school supplies for kids who attend school in our copmmunity. The school supply drive is a wonderful effort that gives kids the tools they need at school.
	Walk for Diabetes PrimeSource Credit Union is proud to participate in this fundraising effort to help find a cure for juvenile diabetes.The Walk to Cure Diabetes is an international effort that raises millions of dollars at more than 200 sites in the United States and dozens more in Australia, Canada, the United Kingdom and Europe.
